The Breast Cancer Boot Camp What makes our program special is the incorporation of a "buddy system." Sometimes facing yet another day with cancer is a tough thing to do. But we like to think that each new day is an opportunity. By encouraging participants to sign up with a friend or family member, we help to provide them with extra motivation - the friendship that comes from shared experiences strengthens commitment. Anyone in the community may enlist as a buddy in the fight against breast cancer. It's a fun and energizing way to show support - and get some exercise at the same time! |
